DIRECT TRANSLATION TURNS HOTEL INTO A BROTHEL

You received this brochure from a hotel in Beijing and these few lines were written on it. Would you still consider to book a room for your family or even for youself?

The manager will await you in the entrance hall. He always tries to have intercourse with all new guests.
This is a family hotel, so children are very welcome. We of course are always pleased to accept adultery.

Our restaurant menus have been carefully chosen to be ordinary and unexciting.

Every room has excellent facilities for your private parts.
When you leave us at the end of your holiday, you will have no hope. You will struggle to forget it.

This is what you get when a hotel in Beijing depends so much on online translation such as BabelFish or Google translator when the brochure was translated from Mandarin to English, word for word.

We may laugh out loud but it could finally convey disastrous messages to potential clients of this hotel and one would have a second thought if actually it is a hotel or a brothel? Perhaps this hotel is offering some adult extra service but in actual they are being friendly and quite accomodative.

I supposed this only happens in China or should we blame it to Mr Google Translation?

Should you come across this brochure, would you consider to keep and reading it whenever you feel depressed?
