DEAR #CHINA ... PRESENTING OUR SHILA AMZAH

Earlier, our Malaysia's very own Shila Amzah, has put this country in international stage when she won China's Asian Wave 2012 that was held in Shanghai, China.

She mesmerized the judges and audience with this number... Set Fire to the Rain;

Moving forward, Shila participated in a  Chinese version of the reality I Am A Singer and broadcasted on Hunan Television. Now its drawing one step closer to crowning its second season champion as the hit show’s semifinal aired last few days and as a result, Shila is in the finals!

Let's see her energetic and mesmerizing performance that qualifies her to the finals. Witness the audience's reaction, it appears that they were so impressed and appreciate the temples of Mandarin songs presented by Shila.

Shila is a reality singing contest veteran, the champion of Asian Wave and runner-up of One In A Million. She has the experience and knows how to deal with the pressure of a grand finale. Despite recent events, Shila remains legitimately popular in China and has a solid fanbase. Rumours suggest that the immensely popular Wang Leehom will be Shila’s duet partner next week, boosting her prospects of making the top five.

And while the performance results mostly mirrored the trends of previous weeks, Shila Amzah anomalous were in sixth place. Some questioned whether her low score was the result of Chinese backlash over the Malaysian government’s handling of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 investigation.

In last week’s episode, the eliminated contestants and their replacements were given a chance to rejoin the competition. The top three performers that week, Shila, Zhang Jie, and Gary, then joined the singers who had never faced elimination in the semifinal.

Final is due on this Friday and before anyone could deny this talented young singer from Malaysia to win, watch her sways and aspect of her voice. So far, Shila still survived even two Malaysian singer Gary Chaw and Victor Wong were eliminated in the previous episode.

Whatever backlash that would be predicted, we pray Shila can step up to win and make us Malaysians proud once again.
