Sidang Kemuncak Global Wanita telah dianggap sebagai pertalian di mana semua sektor iaitu awam, swasta dan NGO akan datang bersama-sama dengan wawasan yang sama untuk memperluaskan peluang ekonomi wanita di peringkat global melalui pertukaran penyelesaian kerja dan strategi kreatif yang dibentuk oleh pemimpin-pemimpin wanita di bahagian-bahagian yang berbeza di dunia.
Ia adalah Sidang Kemuncak perniagaan, fokus kepada kemajuan wanita dalam ekonomi global. Selama 24 tahun, Sidang Kemuncak telah menghubungkan wanita di seluruh dunia.

Najib Razak, akan menghadiri Sidang Kemuncak Global Wanita 2014
bertemakan " Wanita: Merekabentuk Semula Ekonomi dan Masyarakat" di
Paris pada 4 dan 5 Jun akan datang.
Beliau akan menyampaikan ucapan pada pembukaan sidang kemuncak yang akan dihadiri 1,000 peserta wanita yang terdiri daripada pemimpin-pemimpin , usahawan dan wanita korporat dari seluruh dunia.
Turut menyertai adalah Menteri Wanita, Keluarga dan Pembangunan Masyarakat, Datuk Rohani Abdul Karim, isteri Menteri Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri Datin Seri Khamarzan Ahmed Meah, pegawai kanan dari agensi-agensi yang berkaitan serta 60 usahawan wanita dari pelbagai sektor korporat.
Dalam lawatannya ke Paris, beliau juga akan menganjurkan satu pertunjukan fesyen untuk memperkenalkan batik, songket dan produk tempatan yang lain di Le Pre Catalan, Lenote. Pertunjukan fesyen bertemakan 'Eleganza' yang akan mempamerkan karya lima pereka utama negara, akan dihadiri oleh 300 orang tetamu daripada industri fesyen di Paris termasuk pereka, agen pembelian , komuniti perniagaan fesyen dan kakitangan media.
Pertunjukan ini dianjurkan oleh Matrade, Tourism Malaysia dan Kraftangan. Ia adalah platform yang terbaik untuk mempromosikan keunikan dan pelbagai tekstil tempatan yang berkualiti.
Datin Sri Rosmah juga akan mengambil peluang membuka sesi jaringan perniagaan yang dianjurkan oleh
Matrade dan SME Corporation bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rangkaian
perniagaan usahawan wanita Malaysia dengan rakan-rakan di Perancis nanti.
Di samping itu, pogram ini akan dihadiri oleh usahawan wanita Malaysia yang terkemuka dalam pelbagai sektor dan juga usahawan wanita Perancis.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, Rosmah (pic) will deliver a speech at the opening of the summit before 1,000 women participants comprising leaders, entrepreneurs and corporate women from all over the world.
Women, Family and Community Development Minister, Datuk Rohani Abdul Karim, wife of International Trade and Industry Minister Datin Seri Khamarzan Ahmed Meah, senior officials from related agencies as well as 60 women entrepreneurs from various corporate sectors will also be attending the conference.
During her visit to Paris, she will also host a fashion show to introduce batik, songket and other local products at Le Pre Catalan, Lenote. "The fashion show themed 'Eleganza' which will exhibit works of five leading national designers, will be attended by 300 invited guests from the fashion industry in Paris including designers, purchasing agents, fashion business community and media personnel," the statement said today.
The show organised by Matrade, Tourism Malaysia and Kraftangan Corporation is a good platform to promote the uniqueness and variety of quality local textiles.
Rosmah will also be opening a business networking session organised by Matrade and SME Corporation aimed at expanding the business network of Malaysian women entrepreneurs with their French counterparts.
